2019 J. Wilkes Cabernet Franc
Youthful and bright on the entry with mouth-watering intesity in the mid-palate, finishing with pervasive red and black berry fruits, spice and earth. Will age gracefully up to a decade.
Pair with fried eggplant Po'Boy with spicy mayo, venison steak smothered in Chanterelle mushrooms and reduction sauce (made with the wine). Aged Dutch Gouda, La Tur or other Triple Creme Cheese.
