 2016 was another great vintage for wine on the Central Coast, and during an intense warehouse inventory we found a very small amount of Library Wine of Wes's two favorite wines from this warm, generous year: 2016 Pinot Blanc, Santa Maria Valley and 2016 Zinfandel, Paso Robles Highlands. 

 This is a tale of two wine growing regions, two terroirs, and one winemaker with a goal to produce elegant and delicious wines from both locales

Showcasing a dark garnet color in the glass, our Cabernet Sauvignon boasts alluring amounts of brambly fruit, savory spice and toasted oak on the nose. On the palate, rich flavors of plums and blackberries lead to a pleasant hint of vanilla and spice.

Ballard Lane Zinfandel delivers a sense of place and a great expression of the Central Coast. The vineyards produced a medium bodied wine with integrated silky tannins that is aromatically fruit  driven as well as on the palate. Flavors and aromatics of cherry, strawberry jam and raspberry with a hint of cracked black pepper.
